Gary McCullough Gary McCullough is the owner and General Manager of WGCY.  An avid sports fan, Gary enjoys "suffering" through the exploits of the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls.

Gary is the broadcast voice of Gibson City high school sports since November, 1983 and is an inductee of theIllinois Basketball Coaches Association hall-of-fame for his contributions to broadcasting high school basketball.

He and his wife, Debra, have operated 106.3 since November 28th, 1983.

Frank McCullough Frank McCullough is our Sports Director.  He is a rabid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan.

Frank and his wife, Casey, live in Gibson City with their daughter, chocolate labrador Coco, and their cat Wrigley.

Tom Benefiel Tom Benefiel has hosted his own Friday evening show on WGCY for over sixteen years.

A WGCY employee for over twenty-one years, Tom provides much of the local sports coverage on and is also the Sunday morning host.  He is the primary engineer and producer of our sports broadcasts, and writer of the sports articles on this webpage.  He also updates daily the local and state news blog.

Ashley Morris joins her parents and brother on staff at WGCY in 2012. She works in sales, takes care of our Facebook page, and production work.
Rod Habermeyer Rod Habermeyer is our fantastic Bloomington-Normal salesman.  He lives and works in the Twin-Cities.

Jim Cotter Jim Cotter provides WGCY with the Illini Guy Report, a weekly-summary blog of sports from the University of Illinois and helps with our basketball broadcasts from time to time.

Keith Winterland before calling play-by-play at Ridgeview High School on December 16th, 2010

Keith Winterland has been with WGCY since the mid-1980s, starting as the Saturday afternoon host.

He is now the main fill-in announcer when other staff members need a day off.  Keith is also a great basketball play-by-play man.

"Mr. Octavia" has been the public address announcer for Octavia and Ridgeview football and basketball going on three decades.
